Solid Waste:Solid Waste includes garbage, rubbish, refuse, ashes, construction and demolition waste, dead animals, including offal, discarded home and industrial appliances, and wood products or wood by-products and other materials. Teton County has the following solid waste disposal options: North Montana Joint Refuse Disposal District (Choteau, Conrad, Brady, Dupuyer roll-off sites), Teton County Refuse Disposal District #1 (Dutton and Power sites) and Montana Waste Systems.

Teton County has a Community Decay Ordinance that was established to control public nuisances created by the accumulation or rubble, debris, junk or refuse that results in conditions that are injurious to health, indecent, offensive to the senses or obstruct the free use of property which interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. This complaint must be by more than one person and the complaint must be signed. Call this office for further information.
